Who is behind sxMail.de

sxMail.de is a private project. I do run a business as a sole trader (software development and consulting), but sxMail has always been separate from it: a project I have run privately and without profit since 2008. I run it alone and I am responsible for everything that happens here.

Responsible for the content of these pages under section 18 (2) of the German State Media Treaty (MStV): Dennis Parsch, address as above.

Liability for content

I have prepared the content of these pages with care. I still cannot guarantee that it is correct, complete or up to date. As a service provider I am responsible for my own content under section 7 (1) of the German Digital Services Act (DDG) according to the general laws. Under sections 8 to 10 DDG I am not obliged to monitor transmitted or stored third-party information or to look for circumstances that indicate illegal activity. That covers in particular everything users send, receive or store through sxMail: I do not read it and I do not screen it. Obligations to remove or block information under the general laws remain unaffected. As soon as I learn of a specific infringement, I remove the content in question.

Liability for links

These pages contain links to external websites over whose content I have no influence. The respective provider is responsible for that content. No infringements were recognisable at the time of linking. Permanent monitoring is not reasonable without a specific reason; if I become aware of an infringement, I remove the link.

Copyright

The content and works I created on these pages are subject to German copyright law. Reproduction, editing and distribution beyond the limits of copyright require my written consent. Where content is not mine, third-party rights are respected and such content is marked as such. Should you nevertheless come across a copyright infringement, please let me know.

Dispute resolution

I am neither obliged nor willing to take part in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board. If there is a problem, just write to me directly; that usually gets resolved faster.
